Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Jobs
Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) are a diverse community of clinicians who diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate people across the NHS and end of life care, from lifesaving emergency response to long term recovery and support at home. They make up one of the largest parts of the hospice and healthcare workforce, working alongside doctors, nurses and carers to help people live as fully and independently as possible.
In hospices, AHPs play an incredibly important role in the delivery of hospice care in both in-patient and out-patient capacities.
Allied Health Professional (AHP) jobs at a hospice may include: art therapists, dietitians, drama therapists, music therapists, orthoptists, osteopaths, paramedics, physiotherapists and massage therapists, podiatrists, prosthetists and orthotists, radiographers, and speech and language therapists.
